Today I’m bringing you an update post on everything I got from Benefit Cosmetics on my trip to London (you can see the haul here). I’ve had quite some time now to see what worked and what didn’t, but there are still a few things I need to give more time and test. So, let’s get started:
As far as the eye cream goes, it feels really nice on the skin. My undereye area feels really moisturized after using it and what really surprised me was that their samples are huge! I got two and I still have a bit left. I can’t really tell if it does something, since it’s not been that long and I don’t really have huge lines, but I think it’s nice. You can buy it here for €33.66.
Now, Air Patrol is something I was really happy with. I did use a few eyelid primers, but I thought it was just so that the eyeshadow sticks better to the eyelids, but now I could see what an eyelid primer was actually supposed to do 😀 So here is my eyelid before and after:
As you can see in the first picture, my eyelids are a bit red, a bit purple, a few veins… all of that can change the actual eyeshadow colour. After applying Air Patrol, I noticed it was much thicker than anything else I ever used and I was really surprised at how well it cancelled all the redness and primed my eyes for eyeshadow! Big thumbs up! You can find it here for €28.38.

I have expected so much from this bronzer, and I am sad to report that it disappointed me. I think that for someone a bit darker than me (and I’m pale af), this would be a face powder. It’s so light and so barely visible that I didn’t really see the point in using. It did grow on me a bit lately, but I still don’t see the reason why this is the best bronzer ever. If you still want it, though 😀 You can get it here for €31.02.
What amazed me about this product is that I got 1g and the original packaging is only 3g! So I got 1/3 for free! Pretty cool! Mine is in the shade light/medium. I have to say that I do like this product, but again… I do have some issues with it. It does make my unruly brows look a lot better, but the tiny brush picks up so much products that it becomes really messy at times and there’s no way to pick up less product, unless you whipe it and waste a lot of it. But it does look really nice, so I’m forgiving like that 😀 You will see it’s performance below (together with mascara) and you can get it here for €24.42.
They’re Real! Mascara
You know the drill when it comes to mascaras here on my blog, so here we go:
Can you guess which is which? Yup, left is Benefit. I’m starting to hate my favourite mascara 😀
I think that Benefit looks so nice, curled and not as unruly as the Maybelline one. It prolonged my lashes like crazy and it made them look absolutely amazing.
What I do have to say is that the wand is kind of weird and pointy and even dangerous 😀 I did poke my eyes a few times while using it, but overall… I think this product is absolutely gorgeous and worth buying. You can get it here for €21.91. Let’s see a few more pics:
You probably forgot to check out my brows, so go back and do that 😀
What is your favourite Benefit product? Which mascara do you prefer? Which product out of these do you think is the best?
