As I mentioned earlier, I went to Belgrade last week to see Robbie Williams’ concert. While I was there, I was hoping to do some shopping and to let you know about the prices there, and maybe some interesting stores that we don’t have in Croatia, and maybe you don’t have elsewhere.
However, as it usually happens, there have been some complications. We had to buy new tickets to get back to Zagreb, because they sold us wrong ones when I bought them a month ago in Zagreb. So all of my shopping money went in that direction.
But, they do have a Sephora, which is pretty much the same prices as everywhere else. Maybe some products are a little bit cheaper, but not significantly. We don’t have a Sephora in Zagreb anymore, so it was kind of fun to be there and seeing all the products people are raving about (and not being able to buy them, haha).
As far as the clothes are concerned, we only had time to quickly go through a few stores, and from what I could tell, the prices are the same as in Croatia, and the stores are pretty much the same. I was going to show you some pictures, but I don’t really see the point in it.
However, my experience in Belgrade is far from bad. That was one thing that kind of upset me, but the trip overall was amazing. The city is beautiful, the people are most friendly ever, and I can’t wait to go again. We stayed at a small family hostel called Miss Depolo, which was amazing, and the owners were amazing, and we’ve had the best time ever. I really recommend that hostel to everyone, because it’s cheap, but really cozy and friendly- look it up!
Another news is that e.l.f. Cosmetics UK is coming back this summer and I’m super excited about that! Their make up is pretty decent quality, but very cheap, which is quite rare these days. I will keep you updated on when the website starts selling, or you can go check their instagram @elfcosmetics.
And that is it for my today’s post! I’m really sorry that there are so many rambly posts lately, but my intentions were really good for this week, but it kind of failed. Have you ever been to Belgrade? Are you from Belgrade? Do you like it? This post with some of my nail art designs (which I have mostly mentioned in some of my earlier posts and my 5 recent nail art designs post) will soon be live at http://www.cafe.hr/blog/moja-beauty-prica/ for all of my Croatian readers, so it would mean the world to me if you checked it out!
