Hello everyone!
So, today I have a new post for you, and it’s a kind of post I’ve never done before. I am going to review more than one product by one brand and tell you what I think of the brand overall. (Don’t forget to enter my Huge Celebration Giveaway here!)
Eveline Cosmetics is a Polish brand, which came to Croatia, I think, about a year ago. Their range is quite versatile, since they have makeup, skincare and haircare. I haven’t tried their makeup yet, since it’s not really available in every drugstore around here, but I have tried some of their skincare and haircare products, and I decided to talk about them. You can see more about the brand and their products on their website here.
Without much further ado, let’s get on with the products!
First, I am going to talk about Eveline Suncare Tanning Accelerator with beta-carotene and shea butter. I already have a review on this product (it is actually quite popular over on Pinterest here) and you can see it here.
Like I said in the review, I have quite a hard time tanning. I am very pale and I can spend hours in the sun without tanning one bit, but I don’t burn easily either, which is good. However, when I started using this product, I realized I was tanning much easier and I loved the way my legs looked. It’s not a self tanning product, just so you know, it only helps you tan faster. I use this product under my SPF, or on its own if it’s later in the afternoon and sun is not as strong anymore (but only on my legs that way). I give this product a 5/5! I got it for around $5.
Next is a hand cream, which I also already reviewed (I promise this is the last one I reviewed already :D) and you can see the review here. This is a Glycerine super-concentrated hand and nail mask. This hand cream is probably my favourite (or at least top 2) hand cream out there, and what I love about it most is the fact that it absorbs so quickly that you can immediately go do whatever you have to, without having to sit with your hands in the air and feeling super greasy. I got this product for less than $2 and I give it a 5/5!
Then I have a hair care product. It’s a bio Burdock Therapy Bioactive Spray-on Burdock Serum. It’s a serum with 6 benefits for fine and weak hair prone to falling out. It prevents hair loss, detangles hair, strenghtens hair bulbs, stimulates hair growth, doubles volume without weighing down and extends the life of hair colour x3. My hair is quite fine and damaged, and it is very prone to falling out, especially in the last year or so. I think this actually helped that quite a lot, since I have more and more baby hair since using it and I think I actually do have more volume.
I have been trying out other hair care products, too, so I can’t pinpoint if it helped with strenghtening, but it definitely improved my hair growth. The only 2 things I don’t like are the scent (but it’s burdock, so I know it’s fairly natural) and the fact that I get little breakouts if I spray it on my forehead by accident… Besides burdock oil, it contains Argan oil (strenghtening and nourishing), equisetum and nettle extracts(soothing effect and eliminating dandruff), Centella asiatica (anti-inflamatory), D-pantheol (shine), Silk proteins (reconstruction of damaged hair)), rosemary and thyme oils (antiseptic properties), as well as vitamins A, E and F (collagen production) (quite a cocktail, right?). I got it for around $4 and I give it 4/5.
Next are Hydra Impact 360° day and night creams. The night cream is regenerating rich moisturising night cream which regenerates, moisturises and soothes and it’s for dry and sensitive skin. I loooove the scent of the entire range, but this night cream has to be the best smelling cream ever! It’s very light and little goes a long way. It’s also quite runny, not exactly a cream testure and I’m absolutely obessed with it. The ingredients are hyaluronic acid, aquaphyline, silk proteins and argan and almond oils. I will most definitely continue purchasing it. It was less than $4 and I give it a 5/5!
The day cream is also for dry and sensitive skin (I don’t really have dry and sensitive skin, but this works best for me) and it contains 5x hyaluronic acid and argan oil, as well as UV filters. It also has Vitamins A, E and F, and coenzime Q10. Another cream with amazing scent, it’s thicker than the night cream, but it’s extremely comfortable and feels amazing on the skin. The price is the same as the night cream, and it definitely gets a 5/5!
And now I have two products I’m not as crazy about. Both of them are from the Hydra Impact 360° line, but they just don’t work for me as well as the others do. I do still use them, though.
This first one is also pink, which means it’s for dry and sensitive skin and it’s their Gentle Facial Wash Cream-Gel. Now, I have no idea what I expected when I saw it was a cream to gel formula, but it’s exactly what it says and it’s exactly what I don’t like about it 😀 My problem with this is that it doesn’t lather and it actually did nothing in terms of taking my makeup off or any impurities, and when I tried using it with my Silvercrest cleansing brush (reivew here), it just sank on the bottom of it and did nothing again. I will try and use it a few more times, but I don’t like it. The smell, however, is equally divine as other two products. It was around $4 and I give it a 2/5.
The last product is a Hydra Impact 360° 24h deep moisture Energising Light Moisturising Day Cream for normal to combination skin (which is my skin), but it did nothing for me. I don’t think it’s hydrating enough, it sits weirdly on the skin, and it’s way too thick for my liking. Plus, it doesn’t smell as good 😀 It also contains hyaluronic acid, coenzime Q10 and vitamins A, E and F, with addition of Karite Butter. I don’t think it’s bad, I just think that the one for dry and sensitive skin is much better and I suggest you go with that one. It was the same price as other two moisturisers, and I give it a 3/5.
Overall, I am very impressed with Eveline Cosmetics products, and I can’t wait to try some more. I like how affordable, but still good quality it is, and I can’t stop sniffing these products. They seriously smell the best!
Let me know if you want a more in depth review of some of these!
Have you tried any of these products? Have you ever tried any of the Eveline products? Which one would you like to try the most?
