So, yesterday I had my first birthday party 😀 I say first, because that one was for family and family friends, and today is going to be the second one for my closest group of friends. Yesterday I decided to put some effort into my outfit and makeup (which is probably not going to be the case today, because we’re going to be at my house playing board games and drinking some wine), so I decided to share it with you 🙂
I couldn’t wait any longer to show you at least one part of my Shein order (I talked about it here). I decided to go for quite a simple outfit. Jeans, All Star shoes and a shirt. Quite neutral colours, but I added some colour with my necklace and my bracelet, as well as my makeup for the day, which was orange, as you probably guessed anyways 🙂
I’m quite impressed with the shirt, even though it’s quite long, so I have to tuck it in my jeans, but I love the colour and the feeling of it.
I got my jeans in NewYorker, my shirt on the Shein website, my black All Stars, my necklace and bracelet are all gifts, so I’m not really sure where they’re from.
Since I’ve been really loving orange tones on my eyes lately, I decided to do the same for my party. I even used my UD Vice 4 palette (review and swatches here) instead of my Elf one. I used Bones on my browbone and my inner corner for highlight, Bitter in my crease and above it, as well as my lower lashline, Fastball was right in my crease and lower lashline, Flame on my lid and Delete on the outer corner to add depth.
Since I got some presents before the actual party, I decided it was the perfect time to test them out 🙂 I got L’Oreal False lash Superstar mascara, which I’m quite impressed with so far. Then Deborah Milano lipstick in the shade Rossetto Milano Red Shine 3 (not sure if all of it is shade name, or just number 3, but let’s stick with that). Lastly I got L’Oreal Infallible 24h-Matte foundation in 11 Vanilla. I’m quite impressed with all of these products to be honest. The foundation is a bit heavy, but I think I just have to get used to it. Let me know which product you’d like me to review first, and if you’d like to see the entire birthday haul soon 🙂
The rest of the face is Prime&Fine face primer by Catrice, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Essence silky touch blush in Adorable, The Balm Betty-Lou, Essence brow styling kit and Manhattan compact powder.
I hope you enjoyed this post 🙂 I really enjoyed getting ready and trying all the new things. What’s your favourite part of my outfit? Would you wear this for your birthday party?
