Hello everyone!
I know I don’t really write empties posts that often, but now I have a special bag where I put everything used up, old or simply bad for empties posts.
However, since I’ve had that bag, the products were piling and piling, and I just didn’t have the time (meaning I was lazy) to write about them. That’s why I have quite a few now. Also, there are no makeup products in here. There will be some in the next post, but I just can’t seem to use some of the things up.
Now let’s see what I used up and what I thought of those products.
Deodorants
I’ve used up 4 of these, but some were sitting in my bathroom and waiting to be used up.
The first one is Rexona Invisible Black+White diamond. I loved this one and it was probably my favorite, but it is no longer sold in stores here.
Next is Nivea stress protect, it’s my new favorite (still not better than Rexona diamond) and I will probably repurchase after I’ve used up the ones I’m using at the moment.
Last are two Nivea pearl & beauty anti-perspirants, and someone just keeps on buying these for me, but I actually hate them 😀 I hate the scent and I hate how it feels on my underarms. I will not buy this again (and I hope no one else will buy it for me, either :D).
Hair
As far as hair products go, I know I’ve used up a lot more of shampoos and conditioners, but these are the only ones I remembered to save, plus some hair masks.
First are the L’Oreal Elseve Total Repair Extreme reconstructing shampoo and two conditioners. I love the L’Oreal Elseve line, and I’ve tried most of the products from it, but I think maybe the white one (Total repair 5) is my favorite of them all.
Next are a few masks. First two are from Balea, and I’ve written multiple times about these. I love the way my hair feels after using these. They make it bouncy, silky and shiny. The ones I used are with peach and coconut.
The last hair product is by La Croa. You could have seen some of these products in one of my hauls, and this mask was pretty cool. It’s an Argan Macadamia Oil nourishing hair mask.
Body
Here I have some used up products, some that have gone bad, and some that were so bad I just didn’t want to bother to use them.
First are two shower gels. One is by Afrodita Cosmetics, and it’s the same one as my favorite shower gel which contains green tea, but this one contains acai berries and vitamin C. It smelled nice, foamed up nicely, but the green tea one is still my favorite. The second one is by Nivea and it’s called Free time. I love Nivea’s shower gels, as they are very creamy and smell delicious, and this one was no exception.
Next is a CadeaVera sun anti-age body lotion with Vitamin E. I loved using this during summer, especially if I was in the sun a bit too long. It has a cooling effect, it’s very liquidy, and it’s not greasy at all. I didn’t get to use it up, though, since it’s gone bad. Really bad 😀
Lastly, in this category, I have two types of disposable razors. Both with triple blades, both with aloe vera, but one awesome and another one terrible. The Wilkinson Sword Xtreme 3 Beauty was awesome. Not a single bad thing about it. However, Jiali GoodMax one was beyond terrible. I never cut my legs while shaving, but after using this razor I looked like I just came from a war. I used it once and will throw it all out.
Foil packets
I’ve been using quite a lot of testers and masks and I’ve enjoyed experimenting with them, so I decided to share them with you in this empties post, even though some people hate foil packets (what’s the deal with that, btw?).
Firstly, I’ve used up a bunch of Vichy Neovadiol Gf Dry Skin face creams in these little foil packets. I have a review on Vichy Neovadiol Gf on my blog, if you’re interesting to see more info about it.
I used up two more foil packets of face creams, both by Ziaja and both extremely nice. I got all of these in my BeautyBox unboxing and I might buy full sizes of both of these.
Next are some face masks. First is a Balea Aqua sheet mask. I love sheet masks, even though I don’t really use them that often. This one really hydrated my face and I enjoyed it. It’s very inexpensive, so I will probably repurchase. Next is a standard cream-type mask by Afrodita Cosmetics, and it’s for extreme hydration (I guess that’s what my skin needed the most lately. Last one is the one I already talked about, containing caviar, champaigne and pearls, but for the lowest price ever 😀 As expected, I wasn’t really impressed with it.
Then we have L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze tanning wipes. This is a very interesting concept, and I loved the idea, and I even wanted to write a post all about it, but it went terribly wrong 😀 So I want to play with it some more and then share my thoughts later.
The last little sample I’ve got is a Benefit It’s potent! eye cream. This was a very nice eye cream, and quite a generous sample, to be honest. I got two of those when I was on my trip to London, and I wrote a London beauty haul post. I can’t really say whether it actually did something to my skin since I don’t really have wrinkles or dry undereyes, but it felt really nice.
Random
Now I have a few random bits I didn’t know where to place.
I have my all time favorite face mask by Avon, and it’s an Avon Clearskin pore penetrating Black Mineral Mask. I already have a backup, and I intend on repurchasing it over and over again! It’s amazing, it sort of deep cleans my skin and I couldn’t rave about it any more than I do 😀 (not sponsored! :D)
A really random thing is a Signal white system tooth paste, but I actually like it quite a lot and I think it does a pretty good job at whitening teeth, so I might buy it again soon.
If you remember Our Lush Experience post, you know I got a bunch of samples and I said I would write about them and never got around of doing that. That’s pretty much because the samples aren’t really big enough for me to actually see if I like a product or not. However this Don’t Look at Me face mask was pretty nice and cooling on the face, with just the tiniest bit of tingle and firming.
Now I have a super old product 😀 I think this has been sitting on a shelf in my room for a bit under 10 years, and yes, I know it’s terrible. But don’t worry, I haven’t been using it for quite some time now. It’s a hand cream by Oriflame with cherry and mocha. I loved the scent, but it didn’t do much for my hands, really.
The last thing I have to show you is a sample size of Lancome La Nuit Tresor L’Eau de parfum. Ahhhh this is such an amazing scent. I just can’t get enough of it. I spritzed it on myself only a few times and it was all gone. I am seriously contemplating buying a full size, but the price is a bit too high for me at the time 😀
And there you have it! My empties! Have you tried any of these? Would you like to try any of them? Do you like empties posts? Let me know!
Thank you for reading!
See you soon xx
