Misslyn Intense Color Liners || REVIEW

Hello everyone!

Misslyn Intense Color Liners || REVIEW

I know, I’m terrible at life, again. It’s been crazy busy all over again, and I can’t wait for my course to be over, so that I can have evenings to catch up on… well, life 😀 It has been way too long since I’ve posted here, so I really wanted to get on here and tell you about an amazing product I’ve discovered not too long ago.

Luckily, I don’t have my morning class today, so I was able to do that now 😀

What is it?

I am talking about Misslyn Intense Color Liners. I bought the first one for the wedding I attended in July. I did a post on my makeup look and outfit. I was so impressed with this product, that I knew I would buy some more at some point. And recently I did. They were on sale, so I grabbed two and decided I had to write a post about them!

These pencil liners are 0.78 g or 0.02 oz. They come in a great variety of colors and they are pencils that actually have to be sharpened. Old school. One (and maybe the only one?) of my complaints. If you’d like to read more about these, you can do so on the Misslyn website.

Colors and swatches

Like I said, I own three of these at the moment, but I am pretty sure I am not going to stop there. The price of these is anywhere between $2.5 and $5, maybe even higher, since almost every shade had its price. I got 1 for around $3, and another two for around $2.5. Even though each of these has a beautiful sheen, they don’t have any glitter, which is awesome!

This is the first one I got, and it’s probably my favorite. It’s a very bold and a very intense green color that glides like a dream. It has a gorgeous sheen to it, it applies beautifully, and I love using it both as a liner and as a lid color enhancer. I definitely recommend you get this one, especially if you are a color loving gal 🙂 I swear it won’t disappoint!

Now this is a whole other story. This one is just as creamy, glides just as well, but it’s much more versatile. I can see myself use it as a liner and as an all over the lid color, but since it’s this gorgeous bronzy color, it goes with pretty much anything. This is definitely for you if you like your nudes on the lids. Also, it really reminds me of my Betty-Lou by The Balm. I haven’t swatched them next to each other, but this bronzy sheen really reminds me of it.

Last, but certainly not least. This is such a gorgeous color. It’s a true yellow-gold, with the most beautiful sheen. I would totally wear this one as an inner corner highlight, and if you’re a golden highlight type of gal, maybe you can use it even on the face. It really blends beautifully. It has a really beautiful sheen to it, and I really can’t wait to find more uses for it.

Pros and Cons

Like I said, the thing I consider a con, is the fact that you have to sharpen these. I would prefer if it came in those little retractable tubes, but not a huge con by any means.

The rest have to be pros. I love the colors. The variety is awesome, and the colors themselves are absolutely gorgeous. They are intense. The green one did not crease on me the whole night, but it did fade just a little bit. They are creamy. They are absolutely the easiest to apply. They are smooth. They blend amazingly. And they are cheap!

Final thoughts

If you can get your hands on these, do that! I promise you will love these and you will just keep on getting ideas while playing with these. They are seriously so fun! I will probably buy a few more, since I’m becoming a bit obsessed. Luckily, they’re not expensive at all, so I don’t mind that obsession.

And that’s it for today’s post! Have you tried these liners? Would you like to try them? Which one is your favorite? Do you have a favorite brand for color liners?

Thank you for reading!

See you soon x
