ToSave.com Haul and Review

Hello everyone!

ToSave.com

Yes, I’m back 😀 I won’t even get into all the reasons I’ve been gone. I was super busy with uni work, and life was quite complicated all together. However, now I’m back, ready to write as much as possible, so I hope you guys are still with me.

Today I have a haul/review for you. I’ve received these things a while ago, and have been testing them out, so I have some things to report to you guys.

All of the things I’m about to show you are from the ToSave.com website. They contacted me a few months ago asking if I’d like to review some of the things they offer on their website and I agreed. I asked them to send me three things I’m about to talk about.

One is a 12pcs brush set, which is now $3.48! Second thing I asked for is a 4pcs blackhead removing set, which is now $1.28. Lastly, I ordered some moisturizing silicone heel socks, which are $1.98. So let’s get started with the reviews.

Blackhead remover set

I’ve been watching all those Facebook and Instagram videos showing how these tools make blackheads removing process so much easier. Of course I wanted to try it. However, this is not the best tool for blackheads, unfortunately. This does work for pimples, that need just a tiny bit of help, but not blackheads. You’ll have to put a lot of effort to take those out, and it’s going to be more painful than using your fingers wrapped in some toilet paper.

The tools are shaped differently, and 3 of them have a very sharp needle at the end. Be careful, because I did cut myself on both of those. Some of these tools I haven’t found a use for yet, so I might pass them onto someone else.

Overall, 4 tools, 1 use, not the best, but it was still fun to try. And for only $1.28, I don’t thing that’s wasted money.

Moisturizing silicone heel socks

Well, the negativity stops here, because these socks are pretty amazing. I’ve always had rougher heels, because I hate for the moisturizers to absorb with my feet in the air 😀 These socks are different, though. I’ve worn them quite a few times now. The way I like to use them is put them on for about 15-20 minutes or longer and just do what I normally do. After I take them off, old skin starts to peel off my feet. I know it sounds a bit gross, but it’s so satisfying 😀

All you have to do afterwards is wash your feet, scrub them and that’s it! You can wash them in the washing mashine, no problem. I’ve washed them 3 times, and they still work. After a while, the silicone does start to tear a bit, and can get a bit dirty, but it still works. So, I definitely recommend these!

12pcs brush set

These brushes are absolute stars of this post. I think they are some of the most amazing brushes I own. I decided to keep 6 of them, and the other 6 are going to be included in a giveaway for my Croatian readers. There are a lot of blending brushes in here, which I find really amazing, and have kept almost all of them 😀

The brushes are super soft, and they work so well. I find myself reaching for these more than for my Real Techniques brushes. And for less than $4… how can anyone beat this? I think that these brushes are amazing to keep in your makeup kit, and even buy multiple sets, because how can one have too many blending brushes. It just doesn’t work that way. Since I use blending brushes mostly, that’s basically all I kept. I also kept one large and fluffy brush that resembles a shader brush, and an angled brush, which is awesome for the brows. I also have a lip brush, which I use for applying eyeshadow to my lower lashline.

The one thing that kind of bothers me, but not really, is that the eyeshadow stains the white bristles of the brushes, which you can see in the photos. However, they really are wonderful to work with, and if they don’t look brand new in the photos it’s not really the end of the world. I DEFINITELY recommend you trying out these.
