Hello everyone!
Today I have a new type of a post for you! I am bringing you 5 product reviews based on first(ish) impressions. I did try some of these a few times before, but I hope it counts. 😉 4 of those products are makeup and I have one skincare item.
Let me know if you like posts like this one! Let’s get started!
We’ll go as I applied those, so we’re going to start with foundation.
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation
This was actually the first time I tried this product, except for swatching it. My shade is 030 Sand Beige.
I applied this foundation with a brush on one side, you can see the result in the photo below.
The other side was applied with a damp sponge, the result is in the photo below.
I actually prefer applying it with s damp sponge, because it looks a little bit more natural. It can look a bit cakey when I apply it with a brush.

As far as the coverage goes, it cancels out the redness quite nicely, and it does cover a lot, so I would say it is medium to full coverage. It does feel quite lightweight, and I didn’t really feel it sitting on my skin.

I do enjoy this product, and I will definitely keep using it.
Innisfree no-sebum Mineral Powder
This is a translucent powder with Jeju natural mineral and natural originated mint. I usually use these powders for baking under my eyes, and after baking I spread it all over my face with a powder brush.
This product does have a minty smell, and it did irritate my eyes just a tiny bit, but nothing terrible. I do have somewhat sensitive eyes, so you probably won’t have trouble using it.
It does smooth out the eye area quite nicely, as well as the rest of my face, but I still prefer my tiny Sisley one for baking. The packaging is convenient, though, because the lid is quite big, so I can put some inside and apply it with my sponge. I will keep using it.
Wet’n’Wild megaglo Highlighting Powder
I bought this product on Friday, and had to try it out the very same day!
Mine is in the shade Precious Petals, and it was the last one they had. I was very pleased I was able to get my hands on it, since it came to Croatia not that long ago and is always sold out.
The powder is champagne-gold colour, it’s finely milled and has a gorgeous sheen. I like to cake it on 😀 and it does build up very nicely. I think it’s an amazing product, but I am quite disappointed that we didn’t get all the shades in Croatia, because I would love to get my hands on some other shades, as well.
Avon Mark. Spectralash Mascara*
I did use this product a few times before, but I still cannot wrap my head around this one. It has to be somekind of magic, I swear.
This mascara has 3 modes. 1 is for the lightest coat, while 3 is a bit more dramatic. At first, I didn’t see much of a difference, but now I decided to apply 1 on one eye and 3 on the other eye.

I have to say, I am quite impressed, but I really don’t understand how it works!

1 gives a nice curl, but it’s more for everyday, while 3 is more dramatic, and the lashes are longer. However, I do think I prefer mode 1, because my lashes are a little bit more separated with that one. Just take a look at the photo and decide for yourself. Magic, I’m telling you!
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser
This is the last product, the only skincare product, but the least exciting one.
I have to say, once again, thank you, Rahela, for giving me an amazing bundle of Kiehl’s ‘samples’! You can check out what I got on my Instagram.
I seriously adore the other two products I got, but this one is just nothing impressive. It’s true, it really doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils, and it’s really gentle, but it didn’t take all of my makeup off.

I used a micellar water by Garnier after it, and as you can see, it had quite a lot to take off still (this was just one swipe).
Yes, I still have to use micellar water after washing my face with some gentle soap, which is what I usually use, but gentle soap is much cheaper 😀 I don’t think I would be buying this one again. As opposed to other products I got!
Finally, here is the look I did that day 🙂
And that’s it for this post!
Have you used any of these? Did you enjoy them? What are your favorite products from these categories?
